Metal Blade Records teams up with Alan Averill ‘Nemtheanga’ of Primordial for distribution of his label POISON TONGUE RECORDS
Alan Averill ‘Nemtheanga’ works with Metal Blade Records’ A&R department; first bands signed are Sweden’s PORTRAIT and Ireland’s DARKEST ERA!

Metal Blade Records is pleased to announce it has inked an imprint deal with Alan Averill ‘Nemtheanga’ of Primordial to handle distribution of his label POISON TONGUE RECORDS. Alan’s POISON TONGUE RECORDS has already begun to gain notice as a promising label in the underground scene in Europe and now with distribution being handled by Metal Blade Records in North America, the label will be able to further expand its reach into States.

PRIMORDIAL’s AA Nemtheanga and Metal Blade’s Brian Slagel discuss classic metal albums in a 4 part series for Metal Blade TV!
Recently, Brian Slagel and Primordial’s AA Nemtheanga had a chance to talk about some of their favorite classic metal albums from the Metal Blade vault. The conversation has been broken up into a four part series to focus on each of the four albums that they discussed. In part 1, the metal connoisseurs reminisce about Cirith Ungol’s King Of The Dead. Nemtheanga talks about that album’s influence on himself and Primordial while Brian Slagel talks about what it was like to work with the band back in the early 1980s.
This video series will be a fascinating and enthralling experience for metal heads new and old. Remember some of your favorite classics or discover an album that influenced hordes of modern musicians.

Schijnbaar moeiteloos wisselt ze af tussen een teder en bezeten, frivool en demonisch, uitbundig jubelend en ingetogen mijmerend stemmenspel. Samen Vladimir Vaclavek, gitarist van de legendarische band Dunai, bewandelt ze een weg tussen Oost-Europese folk, klassiek, rock en avant-garde.

AEON’s new video for ‘Forgiveness Denied’.
The technical death metal band AEON, who formed in Östersund, Sweden in 1999, are pleased to release their first production video from the band’s new release Path of Fire that just dropped in Europe in May. The video made for the track Forgiveness Denied was directed, filmed and edited by Standard Film Team Umeå HB and was shot in April in two different locations; band scenes being filmed in Östersund, Sweden and the storyline in Umeå, Sweden.
Guitarist Daniel Dlimi comments: “There have been a lot of scandals revealed lately, regarding priests (especially catholic ones) who have been abusing children sexually. In my world, there is nothing more innocent than a child, and the ones who abuse a child sexually will never be forgiven. In my opinion, they deserve to die a horrible, painful death. We want to dedicate this song/video to them, the filthy fucking priests who have laid a hand on a child sexually; we hate you, and want you dead.”
